Design Engineer II - OSKJP00000456
Contract
United States
Oshkosh WI
English

Description

This positions will be focused upon assisting production launch activities for a vehicle platform which has been out of production for a number of years, but is now being brought back into production. The production environment has changed dramatically since it was last produced and will generate new issues not previously experienced. In addition, the Quality environment has changed dramatically since the vehicle platform was originally produced. We expect PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) to contribute to much of the required engineering effort as the supporting effort will require production documents and part prints to be revised. There will be a need to be detail oriented for these issues. The vehicle platform has not previously been subject to the PPAP process and many issues are expected to emerge with the production restart. In addition, there is a parallel effort to design a second variant on this platform which will require new part designs and prints created. With every Engineering Change Notice there is much design detail direction and checking which will require attention to design finer points. This effort would be conducted under guidance of the platform lead engineer.
